The company cut 25,000 jobs during the year, or 20% of its workforce. Revenue was down 27%, and profit plunged 41%. BUT still CEO Paal Kibsgaard received total compensation worth $18.3 million in 2015??? how do you justify this????????????

Paal gets compensated by the board (actually a jury of peers) below. None of these elite feel any remorse for what is going on or sympathy for any laid off employee?....
Think about the last time any of them did a hard days work or understood what it is be without a job.

Rafael Reif - MIT Provost.. real smart guy - would have complained about the lay-offs and poor planning had he known - but rarely looks out of his window.
Tore I. Sandvold - Chairman of Sandvold Energy (private) served as Director General of the Norwegian Ministry of Oil & Energy - made most of his living advising others on how to make theirs.
Henri Seydoux - grandson of Schlumberger (hardly the spitting image of his grandfather or grand uncle)
Very strong smell of CAPITALISM from Mr. Paal's big bonus and 30K layoff at the same time.

Performance related pay.....30000 jobs this year and 2016 will give him a bigger salary....he sets his own objectives...no N+1.
