Is the org health survey truly anonymous? I just took it and I was very honest about management not being supportive in various situations. I'm in TMG and it can be career suicide to go against management. TMG is not a safe place. There were about six likert questions (rating) and one open open ended question. Does anyone know if our layers of direct management sees the response to the open ended question?

Which is why I always give my negative feedback in person :-) rather than in the Leadership feedback form. I would rather work through a problem with a manager than complain about it in a falsely anonymous format. Mostly, 1:1s have worked okay for me, and I (and my manager) have been happier. Usually, a manager-employee problem is a two-way street, so a 1:1 to confront and issue need not be simply a complaint session, but a way for both parts of the diad to work on the relationship.
I was given ssl4 stock since I started giving my manager not-all-positive feedback and ISP eventually. Your manager doesn't have enough power to fire you simply because you provided honest feedback but can get you in a different way. Watch out before being kicked out. No one would listen to you once you are on the chopping block.
I worked for Intel 14 years, one week shy of 2nd sabbatical in NM. From 93 to 2001 was a great place to work. After management change went down hill from there. Loved my job, great reviews, but personal attacks from supervisor's and peer members and HR all Hispanic caused me to walk away from the job. Not knowing I was a vet suffering from ptsd left untreated all the while and Intel not recognizing the same did nothing to support me. Other than to look for ways and excuses to get rid of high paid good quality techs.
HATE IT and all the time in the world isn't going to change that. There is hardly any usable work space on those desks to lay out multiple projects.
With regard to TWWW survey, I hated it when our group first changed and I gave it an awful rating but after working in it for two years I absolutely love it and think that it's a brilliant way to set up cubes and workspaces.
I believe it's anonymous, minus your writing style being noticed. But I seriously doubt that anybody cares about the OHS. They'll do small token changes, but that's it. Same with any survey, the new TWWW is hugely unpopular when you talk to people who get it, but the surveys magically show higher satisfaction.
So I'd suggest you answer the "right way" on anything, since there's only downsides.
Awesome!
Exactly, Intel is a great place to whine. What other place (outside of parts of the government) can you do poor work but play excellent politics and come out on top!? Great Place to Whine. So true.
GPTW @INTEL.
The trick to these surveys is to write nothing but praise.
I know who wrote what on my team. Most tell me what they wrote which lines up with the feedback. When I get bad feedback I ensure those employee focals are negatively impacted. And to show the negative impact, two were laid off ISP....and I don't care. Get off my team if you don't like how the team is managed!
I don't trust anonymous surveys to truly be anonymous. I delete and move on with my day. The sad thing is.. nothing will get done if they don't know what the problems are if people don't trust that their responses are truly anonymous.
I am retired now. When reviewing survey feedback I was always able to be fairly certain about who wrote it (yes, based on the style and, sometimes, content)
I meant TMG
I agree. They know buy your style of writing. They won't make any changes so why even bother. TMS is the worse group @Intel. I got my ISP with this group.I recommend not responding.
The writing style of your comments may reveal who you are. That is why I did not respond to the LFT (management) feedback last year when comments were required.
All you say can be used against you. It's a lose lose situation.
