Yes there will be severance packages is what the email said. It said around 1100 people will not have work going forward.
Maybe they should have cut Upper Managements Salaries and Bonuses and people wouldn't have to be laid off. And they are the reason this is happening. We've had too many chiefs, supervisors, etc for each department for years. And yet some departments were still hiring and recruiting until last month. Doesn't make sense. Too many other ways to cut costs.

The bloodletting will start in just a few hours this morning. The wait is over. Just wish upper management would fall on their swords. They are the cause for this. So many faithful people will be hurt today. So unfortunately that the Old SWN culture will finally be killed off and completely replaced with the failed cultures that our upper management brought.
