HQ teams get the email with a link to download an app the will calculated the wasted time we spend in meetings, OK, then within 1 day we get flooded with internal ENGINEERING WEEK EVENTS. Wonder how many engineers are using that APP???

I remember back in 2008-2009, when they placed 45 minute timers in all the City Center meeting rooms. with a laminate that spelled out some meeting rules of engagement. at 45 minutes BUZZZZ, wrap it up! all that to keep from going over the hour and impacting the next scheduled meeting! it was the dumbest thing ever, definitely thought up by idiotic management/executive to add yet another layer of stupidity to the already way to many meeting culture at the time! The meetings haven't slowed down, only have gotten worse. What's an engineer to do except work ungodly hours to do the actual work which could be done instead of attending countless unproductive meetings! This place is toxic, interested prospects beware!
I couldn't agree more. I don't care why TTS always screws up delivery of every project. There's always an excuse, never any accountability, and all indications show that the Beth Jacobs model of meetings, tickets, and consensus continues to reign.
Let's spell this out for you: No one cares about your ridiculous TTS internal strife. We don't care who owns what, we don't care about some ridiculous Thai place and its food or its relation to TTS TMs. We need the tools you deliver to work. Get it?
