Costco crushes it. They have already surpassed wfm in terms of buying organic product.

I saw product on Costco's shelves in giant containers for things that we've had OOS for a month! I also saw products that we carried until very recently, but for much cheaper and for larger quantities. I bought it all and I know I saved money. The $55 membership is worth saving 40% on cage-free local eggs every 2 weeks, among a million more things. By eating our lunch, I think they're eating our lunch and dinner, maybe some snacks, too. The bagged kale salad went really well with a 20" $9 pizza. Three years ago I had a regional coordinator tell me we weren't in competition with them, and no we're not. But they are definitely in competition with us!

Costco is one of the best run companies. They run a company that is the undisputed leader in their space with a national footprint. They are ORGANIZED and corporate governance is widely admired for being independent of management. Also: Costco is known for low prices and online ordering. And btw, they're eating our lunch.
