Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

This company is no longer Gulfstream which was at one time a good company to work for. It now is all about General Dynamics, and upper management kiss GD butt! So they can all get big bonuses. They pick a week before Christmas to layoff 500 regular workers....nice! They are going to make more cuts after the first quarter, or as the Management said" we had a conversation with 500 persons"- isn't that a nice way to put it- "a conversation"- here let me hold the door for you good bye! I worked hard for Gulfstream and they treat us like numbers-giving piddly raises, and cutting our benefits- yeah sure I want to vote for Gulfstream as one of the best places to work! All after having the gall to tell us that they had the best year ever last year! We need to globally competitive (code words for your screwed). The managers all have no clue what goes on and only seek to prop themselves up to move up. If your not buddy buddy with them your left behind. What a great place to work! Thanks Gulfstream!
