The original poster is not reliable. Most people here are just honestly trying to share I formation with peers.

By the way Monday will be the biggest single layoff yet with 30000 people fired and an additional 15000 managerial staff as part of the Q1 orginisational flattening project.

The new org structure will be in inverted pyramid.

One thing for sure, SLB will lay more people off and it treats merged company's employee as third class, not even second class. I warn you guys who are currently working in Cameron, be ready to jump the ship for your own benefits. A faithful warning from an ex-employee merged from Smith International.
