Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Angry and frustrated... why not short SLB (or the industry) stock and profit on the decline? Or are you clinging on to that shred of hope?

Short? What? Now?

Dude, you're too late to the ballgame... Time to short was when oil was $115..not $30..

Now is time to buy the dips my friend.. start accumulating positions in ALL oil related stocks.. may be a long term plan/play, but definitely not short... not now.

Exactly - don't fear the decline and instead capitalize on the pain. Worst case if things get better - you're back to work. Winner either way!
