Many of you who were recently laid off will be looking at alternative healthcare, be very careful what you sign up for as there are many scams out there. One thing to look for is wording like " limited benefits plan" they say they are a PPO and your out of pocket cost is $25 per doctor visit when in fact they only pay the first $35 of the office visit. Stay away from Freedom Life and Molina. I don't want anyone else to get scammed.

Check the insurance company out with the Better Business Bureau to find out if there are complaints filed against the company. If you are a victim of a scam contact the Federal Trade Commission.
Thanks. Also, check the BBB - BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU to find out if that company has complaints filed against them. If you are a victim of a scam contact the FTC - Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint with them and the BBB.
