Aside from dealing with incompetent managers and supervisors that think that they know it all it's sickening to work for this company. It's a very stressful environment with people always worrying if they will get let go at anytime without a single warning.
I've been with the company 4 years and have seen many layoffs, many friends are now gone and most of them very good workers that never even missed a day of work.
Nov it's all about who you know and what you do, a strong work ethic will get you nowhere unless you know people inside or unless you employ a" yes man attitude " trying to please and kiss ass to upper management.
The only way to move up its not by hard work and dedication, it's through friends and kickbacks
Sickening environment, sad to see people with so much potential leaving and being kicked out to keep the rotting apples together. I myself don't see myself with such hideous company making every one of my days more miserable as the weeks unfold a true and ugly reality of having no work, of people hiding because there is nothing to go, hiding to not get caught by management knowing that there isn't any work available, and people working while they layoff like if working that moment will get them noticed to stop the inevitable.
I work at SHP and this is the daily life and mood in this location. Morale, the morale we lost a long time ago, we've been stepped enough but many of us still think that things can change, call it faith or stupidity I'm guessing a combination of both.
What will take for corporate to see the harm top dogs do to the hard working people that the only thing they want it's to provide for their families.
I guess I will never find an answer to this question.
God bless everyone of you that earn their money by actually working, keep your head up high and wish for a better tomorrow, most likely, at another company.
