The ones who SHOULD be laid off will still be at their offices, having a high ole time after they run off the next group of people who have been responsible for keeping each office afloat

We're in some messed up times my friends. I can't figure it out. Use your degree and become a teacher. If a tradesman then there is 50 billion being spent on the east side upgrading natural gas plants. Short term but the pays good.

My friend works at baker Hughes. We carpool. I pick him up from baker Hughes at 5, I see 75 % foreigners like from India come out of that facility everyday. I've asked my friend about it. He says they are all here on visas. Really??! Greedy as companies don't care about nothing else other than lining their damn pockets! People here need jobs!

@Frp5URV-wqa What I'd like to know is why NOV and other companies like NOV passing out H1 visas like candy to mostly Indians, allowing foreigners to fill job positions when we Americans are in need of jobs. Just look at all the employees NOV has laid off. This one messed up company! Do they get a tax credit? Bonus to give these foreigners H1 visas??!!

NOV ain't buying squat. Laying off. Shutting facilities completely down in leu of trying to sell them off. Cancelled contracts. Stock is down. Oil is down and so is NOV's credit rating with limited cash flow. So please explain how they can buy anything and what other company would merge with them. Please stop the rumors.

It's called a UNION. When 1 stands we all stand. NOV hires lets just say not the cream of the crop for fear of this very reason. Look around and see how many are here that are on work visas from the good old land from the south. Mexico. Low wages. Long hours. Refusing to stand up. Hopefully they'll learn. Absolutely disgusting how people have to live in fear everyday because management don't have the balls to let people know what's going on, employees make the business not the manager's or CEO. Maybe it's time to call for a worldwide strike
