Let's face it, Target cannot compete with Walmart in physical space. Amazon needs some physical presence to compete with Walmart. Future is on-line but need for ship to store., etc....A combined Amazon and Target is natural fit. GET IT DONE!

An acuqisition or merger is like a marriage - so, if you are in your prime, you kick ass, you are on top of the world - would you marry someone who barely makes ends meet and is rapidly aging?
It's never gonna happen, they are not stupid. They do not want our assets and demoralized workforce. Amazon folks work 80 hour a week - you'd get such a massive clash of cultures it's not even funny. I am in BSS and everyone is gone by 5:15 p.m.
