Does anyone know when the next lay off will be? If so, what area/positions? My position is being evaluated "understood" by the merch process team. Is this something to be concerned about?

I've noticed that as well. Go back and look there are those big mass sells and trades before major announcements.
No, that would be insider trading and they'd all go to prison. Very straight forward, very easy to prov. All TGT 's executive/director insider trades are all pre set dates or price targets set months/years in advance based on option grant dates/maturity etc.
I noticed all of the big wigs sold their stock. That typically means a big announcement soon. Could be anything sales, last offs, selling the company gotta wait and see. It is at the end of the fiscal year, so this month will be interesting. Not sure how they can get away legally with selling stock before announcements, even Roxanne sold some this week.
I'm guessing sales expectations will not have been met for the critical 4th qtr and margins will have suffered terribly. So BC will have to make more BOLD decisions (translation, expect layoffs and store closures) to appease investors. This is the new normal, get used to it. If they are evaluating the position, you are gone in 2 months . February will be brutal at Target.
