I can't believe that some folks found out their position was eliminated on the conference call this morning...what a slap in the face. Morale has hit an all time low...lower than what it was 13 weeks ago during the "your job is moving to Chicago, but you may not be invited" phase.
If there were ever a "here's how not to treat your employees" hand book, this entire process should be included...1)drag this out FOREVER and see how many people will leave...2)"Connect" your employees by telling them the same stuff over and over...3)tell you employees their job is being eliminated via conference call and that HR will follow up sometime in the next 2-3 days. Well Done...well done!
