It was the fact that the person did not log a JIRA story before they passed the gas. They did work that wasn't identified in the sprint, so they were let go.

NOT true. They sharted. Gambled on a fart and lost.
Damaging to the ozone layer so yes it's true. HOWEVER, if someone could figure out a way to convert their farts to energy they could be rich.
