There's no such thing as a best practice book. I've asked. So sick of hearing changes are in the best interest to peons. "cuz Target cares of your well being" yet we can't bank Holidays to take time when we want. Want to save money. Stop being so greedy. Get rid of bottle neck management. Eliminate SGL's (theres a cool millions saved) Big paycut cross corporate big wigs. and give back ham and turkeys on holidays

DC'S don't have the option to bank their holidays. They are automatically banked only if you work on the holiday itself. Otherwise, you are paid for the holiday.
R7t banking holiday hours? You sound like one of those peons.
I am happy with how I am treated at the DC. The pay and benefits are competitive. It is a good job. Change will make Target better, faster and that is good for all employees at all levels.
Bank your holidays
Actually there is a Best Practice on staffing, holiday pay - you name it, there is a Best Practice............. and DCs can still bank their holidays.
