Found a work around to crack the RCG IP address. Next step is to identify his name. Who wants to report him to HR once we have his name? He clearly has insulted and threatened many people here and deserves this. I am not sure if he works for Intel but that doesn't matter. We can report him to whatever company he works for.

Watch it map to an AOL range
Hope he gets busted.
Go OP!!!!
One other avenue to consider is to work with thelayoff admin and ask for their cooperation to identify this individual. He has threaten and used discriminatory language on these forums and pretty sure they will cooperate to avoid legal disputes.
I am on to him. When there is a will there is a way.
It depends. It's not a problem when we have Intel helping. If this guy used the site when he was logged into Intel's network (either on site or remotely) it's all recorded and will be easy to get WWID/name
Interesting. We have to have a court order to get IP/MAC info from site and providers. The problem you have is "proving" the IP is whom you say it is, and then prove a particular person actually posted threatening information. Good luck.
Wait and see.
yeah, right, @vnc. If that was true you wouldn't be posting it here. It's BS with all the other BS that gets posted on this site on a way too frequent basis. It's verging on boring.
I'm a P.I. I will be working with LEO to identify the "RCG" poster. Not sure at this point if any laws are being violated. If this individual works for Intel he will be quickly reported to Intel's HR department.
Nice!
I also have two personal friend's who is a DEA and another friend in PD 2nd in command that will be contacting to track his name down using his IP address. We can then discuss actions that needs to be taken.
The pleasure all goes to you, OP. :)
