The great folks at Denbury should stay at it; focus and continue to do what they pay us for. Layoffs or no layoffs, acquisition or no acquistion, this is the cyclical nature of the wonderful business we are proud to be a part of. Denbury has taken great care of us for years (insurance, bonuses, free breakfast and lunch,etc.) so now it's time for us to take care of Denbury until things get better. Hang tough, be proud of what you do, and keep smiling!
Wasn't the rumor that Sinopec was going to acquire Anadarko in December? Now it's Denbury? I don't know. I guess anything is possible but this rumor would surprise me.
