In California you're still eligible for unemployment benefits if you've received a severance. However, you have to honestly disclose what you've received.

Can you give any (anonymous) info about your role and/or location? On pins and needles wondering how close I am to being laid off.

It really doesn't matter if you got laid off yesterday or not. They company suffers from huge debt, extremely poor management and with 48 cents stock , it is heading toward bankruptcy very fast.

Their layoff has always been random without any thought, exactly the same way that the operate their assets.
