Basic business operation processes look to have been neglected in planning for this event. They let go whole segments of people who were the only ones that knew how processes worked.
In the end, it looks like more people will be appreciated for what they did, now that they're gone.
Follett has continually crapped on the little people. I used to think I wouldn't be impacted by this abuse until today. Now I have. Don't wait around for this to happen to you.....it will. More cuts will be coming after the September rush and it will continue indefinitely. The Follett family will get its money even if it is off the backs of its former employees. Sales go down, keep cutting expenses by eliminating the little guys. Never look at the mess that senior leadership has got us into.
Wishful thinking! I don't think they know how to appreciate their hard working people (past, present, future) at the bottom. They will continue pretending they know exactly what they are doing (only they believe their own lies) and continue digging a deeper whole. Sad part is that it's the little people who will suffer the most in the end.
