JK's replacement has been part of BC's inner "transformation" crew since about day one. It's been pretty apparent that she was to be the new HR top dog considering she has been spearheading all the new changes coming from HR. JK = pushed. Alibaba's market cap? Well, it's shrunk 60% since 2014, yet losing nearly 100 Billion Dollars (Austin Powers style). Articles have been trickling out that they been cooking the books (Mandarin style). There's one article in particular that points out that if BABA's released sales numbers in China are correct, each Chinese consumer using them is spending over 40% of their TOTAL income on BABA now. Right.....

Number of employees between alibaba and tgt? Look at babas market cap and think about the magnitude of difference in growth prospects. Jk did what many at tgt are looking to do which is leave for greener pastures. Tgt is a dead end for her and probably really depressing. Don't get me wrong no one who makes that much gets my sympathy but I don't think she was pushed out. If bc felt hr was of strategic importance he would have brought in another outsider already. Or maybe her dirty work wasn't quite done.

this is a much lower level position folks. TGT 360K+ employees - JK was top HR. BABA 34k+ employees - JK reporting to top HR. Translation: "JK we're going a different direction, find something that does not directly compete in our space by x time on you're own or you're just gone" #saveface
