Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

JK is gone!!!

Finally. Better late than never? Or is it too late and the damage has already been done?

Why do news organizations post dribble from corporations and consider it reporting. Every news organization had the same exact words. No wonder corporations get away with the crap they do. Media is complicit. How would an investor know if this is good or bad.

Let us all lift one final 🍷 in memory of, and gratitude not hearing again, of Jodee spending the Fourth of July reading (skimming?) BTS ....

So Stephanee is not going to be any better than Jodee? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I am surprise that this lasted as long too - however, getting rid of poor performers doesn't happen. It's like if you can copy a MACRO or spell MARCRO, then you're secure but then you can be set up for failure at no moments notice. I have seen a lot of that happen over the last month (and I feel so fortunate that I still get to work for this Best Company Ever) - then end of 2016, everything will be one step closer to TCI

I'm shocked it took this long. Target's HR dept is beyond worthless (unless you're a poor performer, then you love HR's protection) and JK has been at the helm for NINE YEARS. The damage has been more than done long ago. You can only watch worthless employees continue to have a job and get promoted for so long.

It is going to take a generation to repair the damage BC and JK did to employee morale. No one cares about Target right now except very senior leadership. Maybe handing out bags of cash as bonuses to lower level execs would ease some pain.

I wonder which C-suite execs complained the loudest about Gregg. Maybe he is getting the last laugh. What goes around comes around.

Nice to see SL covered all this year's buzzwords in her acceptance speech in the funny papers. She bleeds red apparently, nice touch. We are doomed....why didn't we hire Trump, then stuff would have gotten done and Target would be great again.

Oh my.... That is majorly disappointing. I thought we had someone new. Instead more of the same HR that is nowhere to be found, unless they need to stall you giving a poor performer corrective action, or layoffs..... Then there's no shortage of HR. I'm going to puke...

Damage done! The bad news, her replacement is a Target vet most recently responsible for HQ and India teams. I work in HQ and have not seen my HR rep in my entire time here, and that is years. We are not getting someone better, same crap is coming.

She didn't even get the courtesy of being an 'advisory role' hahahaha. They must have finally realized she didn't have a clue. Unfortunately it's too little too late.

I saw the announcement then noticed target stock is up over a buck for the day - coincidence?
