Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

So they actually said that -

BC says this, "Our outstanding team is one of our key competitive advantages."

SL says this, "The Target team has always been the key to our success. Our team has embraced and harnessed the changes necessary to compete in the dynamically changing market."

I guess the layoffs must have slipped their attention and the resulting team member apathy is not seen from the 26th floor.

Bunch of crap, maybe they should run for political office.

I was only commenting on TTS results, but from what I heard TTS results were consistent with Target as a whole for engagement results. Everyone has an issue with it at Target. You can't indescimanetly lay off that many people and not expect crappy results.

Ah - so it's TTS's fault that "Engagement" is now on all of our Goals for 2016... thanks a lot, Assholes.

We heard in TTS that engagement sucks...and basically leadership does not have an answer, except prayers.

Did anyone hear from their 'leaders' about the results of the Do-Over BTS? We didn't get anything more than an acknowledgement that the results were in and were slightly improved over the previous BTS. The tepid, lifeless comments of our DMG lasted less than a minute and were devoid of: Acknowledgement of Disenfranchisement amongst the Troops, Apology for Sucking, or, A Plan for Improving Morale. The Transformation has transformed some leaders into impotent and gutless mouthpieces for the bounders who populate the C-Suites. Shame on them for their spinelessness.

Bunch of crap. They have both seen the team survey results and know how bad it was. Not one thing has changed as a result of the survey feedback. Tell me again how important we are.

What planet are these two idiots from? No team member at Target feels this way, everyone hates Sr. Leadership and what they have done to them and the people they layed off. Maybe Cornell will make a boatload of money for himself and some shareholders, but he will be forever villefied by current and former team members. No love for him.
