Pray for job

ble verses about job loss

Losing your job can be very hard for anyone, but we must trust in the Lord. As believers sometimes when things happen to us we wonder what good can come from this? Do not look to what is seen. We must find the blessings of being unemployed. God might have another will for you. God might have plans for a better job. God might want you to become closer with your family in the process. God wants to work in you and build your humility, patience, and faith. God is not a liar. We should trust that God will provide and guide us through our darkest situations.

Your darkest hour is God’s hour of power. God can change any bad situation into a beautiful one. Pour your heart out to God. Use this as an opportunity to revamp your prayer life.

Don’t focus on the world and the lies of Satan. God will make a way for you even if there seems to be no way.

Allow God to be your joy. We must stand firm in faith when losing our jobs trusting that God will deliver us, but that does not mean we are to sit around and become idle.

We should be continually searching for a job and asking the Lord to direct us.

I could venture to say Allah told the Saudi's to flood the market to destroy the great satanic Evil American oil businesses and jobs. Then you'd respond we're supposed to suffer and be tested to understand and deepen our faith. BS. My layoff was last January after 20+ years. I don't believe in man made Stone Age religion of any type; My ego suffered a day or two and then like a lot who were layed off I got my $$, pension, retiree health insurance and a bonus $$ contract to come back as a consultant. Turns out they quickly realized they still needed my skills. The part you got right was spend time with your family and don't sit idle. Last year I made more money then ever. Took great vacations and worked half the amount. I Expect the same this year. I have better advice. We still need oil regardless of the price so specialize in areas that are needed when times are bad. That's how to survive. I did it during 4 downturns. I'm proof it can be done and I never had to compromise my values, treat people bad or bribe someone. My old boss is one of the nicest people I have ever worked for. There are still a lot of decent employees at SLB. Times are just bad for service companies. A lot of people who were retained are younger and definitely will be needed when things stabilize. I also have a nice 401K which I haven't even had to touch. I sold a lot of my stock at $114 in 2014 to buy a retirement home for cash. My years there have been worth it. See that's how you look at the positives.

Perhaps the Catholic church kept the Bible in Latin for 1,000 years to hide something?

Eccl. 9:5: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.”

Hmm
