Why not get rid of this perk? I loved it when I worked there but it was sooooo ridiculous. Want to save money don't match so much. Also, bonuses are nice but if it comes between bonus or your company surviving I would hope you would choose the latter. I would have but they let me go. If no bonus gets rid of money hungry entitled spoiled brats then so be it. Good luck finding a job!!

This concept that CHK only employs spoiled brats is nonsense. Cutting back the 401k match will not move the needle in a meaningful direction. Posts like this only demonstrate that the poster has a poor understanding of how a company the size of CHK can do other meaningful things to reduce debt and cycle costs.
