I've been a VMware user, admin and architect since 2006. I have never worked for VMware, though I have interviewed with their PS division and turned down a job offer from them. I can also tell you that EMC and their 'big iron' and 'sales first' mentality is what is killing / has killed VMware. Once the VMware purchase was made, and all the arrogant little schmucks from EMC were brought over - it killed the environment and the push for innovation at VMware. VMware no longer cares about the quality of the software they put out. It has more bugs in it than Windows, but again, that (IMO) is due to the sales-push from the EMC-style Pay first, fix-later-marketing. Plain as day, EMC killed this company.

To the OP: If you had actually worked for either company (or both like I have), you would know that VMware have a much more aggressive sales culture than EMC.
Nice try.
