Store Team Leader gets the boot even though this store has been infested for over 5 years. Everclean grades have never been higher than a "D" for total store. Most recently, Guest were dining with their family in the Cafe and had mice running across the floor. Last week a Guest was picking tomatoes in the Produce department and saw a mouse underneath. Media should have a field day with this one! Why have we allowed this to happen for such a long period of time? Why now did they Seperate a good standing Store Team Leader because of this issue even though everyone from the bottom/up knew what was going on? The Whole Foods Justice System fails again. Nona, Yanni, and Sandra are the ones that deserve to be separated for this mess!

Never been to this store, but it sounds like a shit hole
Never once tried to hide who I was and I could care less about what Edwin did or didn't do to get fired. Quite frankly, it's not any of my or anyone else's business other than the people involved. I spoke up for what I knew of Edwin personally, just as I would with anyone else that I work with. I got respect, loyalty, and love for everyone that shows it to me in return. But I would like to mention that our store (pky) just got yet ANOTHER "D" on Everclean even after them telling us when they are coming out to visit and inspect/audit us. And for the first time they achknowledged that we are having a mice infestation on the final report. So I would like to personally thank the original poster for shedding light to a problem that has been going on for a very long time. Hopefully we can get this place cleaned up and everyone can just move on. Stay strong PKY, Guest and sales continue to come back each week. Perseverance is really starting to pay off. Thanks,

I was a bit stunned by his assertion that Edwin was awesome because there were great prizes at the All Store Party?! I'd rather have support and fairness.
Poor Poor Edwin, he was such a innocent victim. It's so sad that all of these people got together and ganged up on him. I guess Regional didn't do a investigation. He was one of the most caring, nicest people I ever met. Lol I can even type that with a straight face. He is a self serving dirtbag.

Next time you talk to Edwin ask him why he got fired from Market Street? I guess they all made things up about him too. Funny how that works that he's been fired from last 2 companies but it wasn't his fault. What a conspiracy, they are all out to get him.

One more thing it's hard to support teams when you are late to work daily. When he was there he stayed locked in his office with a paper over the window saying on conference call. Good ahead and look for a new job, maybe you can work with him again and learn the true Edwin when he screws you.

Miss Edwin!! I speak for many!! Store Looks like Crap and the 2 Astls don't know what the hell they are doing. Why can't regional see that they lost a great leader! He always made time to help you and support our teams. He was a family man with a big heart. We always felt protected by him. Nothing fake about him... Obviously You don't know him. Funny the negative comments probably because either you got fired or just bitter. Hide behind your key board and fake in his face. He was the best we ever had and always wanted the best out of all of us. He knew all the fake back stabbers that had horrible Attuides. The girl you talking about has issues and wants attention...trust me don't get me started about her and the specialty team who where all trying to get him. He was like a father to us. We won awards in the store that we never one before because of his leadership. Always though awesome parties and gave away a ton of great prizes to us. His deeply missed and there is a void in the store.
Can't wait to find another job. Store is never going to be the same and he is missed by many!!! Oh and karma will come back. Those who know him know the truth!!!!
Nobody knew the real edwin he was the fakest person ive ever met and was under investigation for sexual harassment and there was video proof of him doing so he's lucky he just got fired and the girl didn't choose to file a police report on him.....so for those defending him obviously he fooled u into thinking he was a good man but no he was not and he got what he deserved
It's very sad that the original post got lost between judging an individual and what kind of truck someone drives. For Christ-sake, there are mice running up and down the aisles, between the walls, and the back room of that store that sells "high quality products" for an average of 35% mark-up compared to our competitors. For those TMs working at that location that stay silent to cover it up are no better than the crooked dick heads and cunts running this company. Ask yourself, would you take your family to be fed at a restaurant or any establishment that had rodents and pest running freely? So why is it OK for you to work there, smile, and sell expensive products to people knowing what is going on? Disgraceful!

Hey bud! I don't want to comment too much on the substance of your post, but I will say to be careful identifying yourself online. I mean, there are like two or three guys that work in SEA at PKY - and I know that one of them at least, doesn't drive a truck. So, I'm just saying be careful with what you post online.
Edwin is not an evil, or particularly dumb or bad man. I think it's the natural tendency for people who are charismatic/fake-ish/dense to rise to positions of leadership, and that he is no different. I think PKY is kind of a dump and that it's going to take intervention from high up in the company/potentially a total remodel to really turn the store around. The store itself is ancient with entrenched pest issues, old and hardened grime, and crumbling appliances/systems. I don't believe he could have done anything about these issues. I think Edwin is a confident man, who lacks self-awareness, which is what led to him being "too friendly" if you will, with some of the female staff. Don't take my word for it, what do I know anyway?

Funny I seen him on the floor all the time, helping and greeting everyone and see him talk to all the guest and is well loved. Never seen him touch any female. Stop the lies on him. He was a great leader and totally turned the store around! Never look this good. He lead with his heart and loved his team. He is missed by many. Herd he left for another job! Best of luck to him
Where's the Tulsa people at on this one? We are also experiencing a nightmarish mouse infestation. Traps visible on shelves, on the sales floor, mouse poop all over the shelves and products on aisle 1... They aren't afraid of us anymore, they look you right in the eyes while you are facing the aisle. Running around in front of shoppers, literally jumping out of displays and damn near onto people.. The whole place smells like a mix of dead and living rodents. I don't know how in the hell we're still open... I don't know why anyone in their right mind would continue to shop there when they see all the traps and turds, and dear god the smell
Wfm knows believe me knows their chem free program in regards to bugs/mice/rats is a joke..its on the gm' s shoulders to let the pest control company take care of the problem..in a don't ask don't tell fashion... The pest controller says "ya we are using the wfm bitter orange peel and rosemary spray its lethal" with a wink and a smile..meanwhile they are using the real goods...its the pest control companies that actually comply with wfm pest control protocol that are unable to knock out the problem... These are the stores crawling with roaches...and its comon...and so scary to see in the morning when the lights are flipped....hey roaches are natural organic and non gmo so no biggie right...
LoL, they can have it! My post didn't have to do with anyone other than a man that isn't here to defend himself as others bad mouth and disrespect him. There isn't many people in this company that i would take the time of my personal life to defend. But if you really knew him, you would understand. He impacted so many people's lives. Our store is suffering because of it and there is a sense of self blame because we don't know if it was something we did or didn't do as a Team. The original poster of this thread is correct on a lot of things. We struggle as a store with Everclean, we do have a mice problem, and recently there was guest sightings around our store. But this has been going on for many years and we hope that this wasn't the cause for his seperation. At the end of the day, there will be trolls on here talking crap and spreading rumors, but there are some people that genuinely care about the situation and are here to vent. They have the liberty to do just that. Afterall, I believe that's why this website was created. Anyways, God bless you all and may WFM find a STL half as good to replace a friend, boss, and true leader.

One of my fellow team members here at Parkway directed me to this site. I'm very disappointed that some of you talk trash and disrespect a man behind a computer screen. I worked with Edwin for 2 years at parkway. I can speak on his character, work ethic, and most importantly, the kind of man he is. He has God very close to his heart, a beautiful family, a bad ass truck, and a newly built from the bottom up house. Edwin was as straight forward as you can get with a STL. I feel the P-O-Ss that are whining and taking this opportunity to throw punches at him are the ones that were jealous of his success and possibly the ones on the verge of getting fired. I enjoyed working with the man, he helped me pick out at truck, and always gave me advice both spiritually, professionally, and gave me pointers on how to be a better man and future husband to my gf. I have a ton of respect for him, his family, and wish him all the best. He doesn't need WFM, but WFM needs more Leaders like him. I used to work at PKY and the mice are a huge problem, as well as roaches. I agree wit the OP that regional should be held accountable, but Edwin was never a good STL. He is a manipulative POS that is in no way qualified to be a "leader".
STEP BACK GUYS! This is the task of the 'crisis - team', as that's what they were initially hired for. Interesting how they are going to handle this. Sit back, relax, get a drink and watch the show.
I don't think anyone realizes this but we are only allowed to "pest control" with natural means - traps and natural sprays etc. anyone that's had a pest issue in their home and apartment knows how laughable natural pest control is. You gotta bomb the place with chemicals if you don't want these critters to come back.
Who is in charge of Parkway now? What's going on?
Today the two ASTLs spent the day going up to TMs and coaching us on how to deal with the media. It's chaos at our store right now. They asked us to call them if the media approaches us on the sales floor and that they will handle it from there. Two Seperate Customers asked me personally about the mice situation and I couldn't help to be honest with them. They left their baskets, but before walking away one of them thanked me for my honesty, and proceeded out. I'm scared that our store is going to close down for a few days if not weeks so that they can clean this place up. I agree with the other postings, someone needs to be "held accountable" from the top.
If it,s the Edwin I'm thinking of in DFW, good riddance. That guy had a permanent-smile that I wanted to smack off his face. What a turd.

I work in grocery. There are mice all behind the bulk section and inbetween aisle 1 where we have the dry baking goods. We keep finding packages with holes from where they are eating away. It's sickening! The solution to this problem is setting mouse traps in every corner while they roam up and down the aisles and backroom. Edwin was a good guy and I agree with the original post, regional leadership should have "taken ownership" and have been "held accountable" for this mice infestation. We have struggled with MICE since the afro man was in charge, then was Scott wilcox, and finally edwin aguilar. Noone has done anything about it and now they are running the backroom where it's a disaster. When mice are crawling across the floor while people are eating in the Cafe and having a buffet in produce during business hours, there is a problem!

Well, since they are at EPIC Hotel, they might as well go and see the Aventura store that had roaches and got the prepared food dept shut down. Team members got fired as usual!
