The industry is imploding and maybe they are having to make these decisions. I'd rather be the one working hard if they're making a list than freaking out over the possibility. Maybe it will prevent me from being ON the list. Last time I thought they were fair and treated everyone with respect. There isn't any reason they won't be that way again if all this is true. It's a good company with good people at all levels.

Regarding the sentence in the last post, "uncaring self-centered egotistical drone for a boss". Could not have described it any better.
Is worrying about your job worth 2 years less of your life?
Is worrying creating a negative environment at home for your family?
I truly believe worry/fear is really about the unknown future and not about loosing some job with an uncaring self-centered egotistical drone for a boss.
I still think the best thing is just to walk outside and talk to God, Talk to your family about the future, have a laugh with an old friend think about how great next year will be and get some sleep!
I guarantee tomorrow will come and these times will pass.
I agree that Denbury is a good company with good people, but that doesn't mean that we are not concerned. Worrying and working hard at your job are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
