What makes you think you guaranteed anything? Let me guess... You're entitled to it

I was in the first round of layoffs. They treated me well. 3 Months pay, 3 months insurance. And they provided post employment services to assist in rebuilding my resume. Honestly, getting laid of from Denbury turned out to be the best thing that has ever happened to me in my career. I have a position paying 20k more, and operational control. It will work out. Denbury hires good people, and when you get let go, your still good, and the other companies in the industry know that. You will get picked up.
Don't count on 3 weeks per year of service. I was told that the first group to be laid off got 2 weeks for every year of service (minimum of 12 weeks pay) plus health benefits for a month or so. Who knows if the severance will be the same for the next RIF or less generous.
I would hope. Thinking 3weeks for every year
