If Pearson is going to put all their eggs in that basket, employees should start updating their resumes now.

Interesting that everyone on this thread wants to talk trash about the LSC group and they were the cause to all the problems in the company--check in with a Higher Ed sales rep around class start time Fall 2016 and ask them how they are doing without their LSC. I understand the few posts here have personal issues with their LSC's but most of them for the most part have valueable experience and skills the company just did not use properly. They drove the companies boneheaded initiatives as directed and went about their work in a professional manner. Don't fault them for getting nice bonuses that the company signed off on--blame the mutts in senior management. This group was nothing more than dangling puppets just like the rest of Pearson employees who still have jobs.
After 3 years of obscene salaries and bonuses in this group- they finally get dissolved. But now they are all getting other jobs within Pearson keeping their outrageous salaries. Makes total sense. Maybe they will actually have to go to campus and not be bonused on all sales in their new roles. This was not a reorg- just a reshuffling of the deck. Where did Pearson save any money aside from cutting WebEx?

While I can understand why you would be frustrated, it's unfair to classify the whole group as inept. My LSC is AWESOME and on campus all the time. I concur about DDA: it's a lengthy process with an unrealistic timeline. Any of us would be crazy to pin our hopes for the year on it.
I second that. To trust that group with DDA is beyond absurd, especially when pretty much none of them have seen campus since the position was created in 2013. What relationships do they have? It's one of the worst groups within all of Pearson HigherEd with absolutely ZERO accountability. I've LOST business due to the incompetence of my many LSCs (I've had 3 so far) and have also had to ask my LSC not to visit any of my schools in the future because they are so inept. Yet, they keep their jobs and receive BIGGER bonuses than I have- you know, the one actually out there on campus everyday securing new and keeping existing business in tact. As a company, we are so far behind the 8 ball (as usual) regarding DDA- if upper management actually thinks we will get DDA business closed for Fall they have another thing coming. I've secured a DDA before and it took years to get around all the approvals and university red tape. We should have started this initiative 5 years (or more) ago. But again, no forethought from this company whatsoever. Trusting the LSCs to actually leave their homes and travel to get this initiative in place is laughable, and shows that upper management is completely out of touch with what is going on in the field.
