But VMware Workstation was critical to the success of VMware (it was their first product!) and yet they just axed the teams for that product.
vRealize is critical to the future success of the company - they wouldn't be stupid enough to ruin the opportunity it gives them...
If vRealize is a total disaster as stated, RND is just polishing a turd. Only matter of time before RND is not safe.
RND is safe
Vrealize is comprised of vRA, vRops, vRB, Log Insight. While the management team may be torn asunder, the engineering and (moreso) the support staff are intact - for now. I would not be surprised to see these move totally to India soon, but for now things remain the same.
The management of that team was so bad, half of the team already left the wreckage anyway. The management just pretended they are doing something and gives good prep talk to keep people in the delusion while almost everybody else knows the whole thing is a total disaster. Kudos on getting those HP management team, it successfully turned a once great team into a pool of dead water!
huh? were they fired too?
