Segments within SLB (such as M-I SWACO lead by Guy A.) has been conducting furlough since last year, those kind of policy will enforce this year even more. With those massive layoffs, the current employees have to contribute overtime, those are illegal. But nobody dare to complain publicly, especially with those international transferred employees (H-1, L-1 visa holders). Why not call your representatives and let them know those disgusting and illegal practices by SLB. Layoff is OK due to business downturn, but furloughing and overtime at the same time is illegal.
