I heard a very good engineer that worked for IoT and Maker group on Intel and he was fired after fabricated accusations and HR did not help him...Some people were talking about him here in Santa Clara... So with all this focus thing, I am really thinking in go to somewhere else.. I believe Intel will be the yahoo tomorrow.. nothing... and a new layoff is coming for sure.. bad biz strategy..

I worked 3 years in the R&D center of Intel in Haifa, Israel. Got set up by a managers who concocted a plan to get rid of those who oppose their doings.
I left my country after I was dismissed, and now I live in Canada. Trading stocks and ETFs.
It felt so good to sell short Intel's stocks :)
Watch your back in this corporation. Your ability to deal with harassment is more important than education or skills. Document all incidents and make sure they are stored outside the firewall. If you are not willing to be completely ruthless with no emotion, you will not have a future at Intel.
A drone business is pathetic. It shows that Intel management is both desperate and incompetent.
A toy drone is all that's left.
To -1by: Yahoo is not doing good at all - their core business is literally worthless. Drones are stupid. I sure hope we're not betting the farm on drones. Give me a break.
I agree with statement above. Yahoo is doing good but never will be like was before. Yahoo was the google years ago but now ???????? hum...... not sure... Intel will have problems in next year because the company was not able to dominate the mobile marketing and with this strategy based on "drone" I think it is very bad.
