Thread regarding BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. layoffs

MORE layoffs at bj's home office yesterday. This is the third one in 5 years. Some of the folks were treated poorly on their way out. Disgusting

I don't understand why people are being treated so poorly.

Pfffff...... they are quickly becoming obsolete in a competitive industry. Might be too little too late with the recent changes they are desperately trying to make. I would be on the lookout for a new job if I worked for them. So many better options out there then what they have to offer their employees and their so called members who think they are getting these awesome deals. Go to Costco if you must shop at a big box store.

Let it be known Laura Sen boasted the members saved $2.3 billion last year! Anyone who worked at club level knows HALF of that money can be accounted for in the overuse of coupons! Fix the glitch IT and save some jobs!

But wait, thry made sure to keep all AVPs, SVPs, etc.... instead they laid off hard working people in order to save those bastards precious paychecks. Because they have been unable to deliver to Leonard Green and Partners, and to CVC Capital Partners since they were purchased. Perfect example of greed in corporate America. Tsk Tsk BJ's, Tsk Tsk....
