Hey @vlv - I've had a tough day, please entertain me and go wild...

American dump heads 70% only know art of talking and doing nothing. Screw some country , get rich and relax. Don't bring racism and skills in layoff, i will go wild.

I do not know about the labor force in India. But the labor force in China is not cheap. I heard that a head count in Beijing or Shanghai is about 50%~60% of a head count in Palo Alto, counting all the benefits. So number is more like 2:1, not 5:1.

Also it is not easy to find and retain qualified candidates in China.

VMware is offshoring all it can. India and China operate in an economy that much cheaper than here. Why not hire 5 coders for the price of one? No big benefits package and tons of people to chose from that are programmed from childhood to be subordinate to any superior no matter how idiotic that person may be. Sounds like a dream labor force, any army or "yes men." They keep their mouths shut, don't complain, work for pittance, and are considered expendable resources by corporate America. We, tech folks in the US, are lucky to have any tech jobs left at all.

We won't fix this offshore bleeding of US tech jobs until companies are incented to keep jobs here, wether with positive or negative incentives. Until the bloated beltway Feds lower the corporate tax to a flat 15% with no loopholes (so companies like GE will start paying taxes again) companies will keep heading overseas and taking our jobs with them.

Completely agree with mhb - this idk bugger is nuts... I'm sure an Indian boss got rid of him.. dirty trash that no one in America (where you have trash diggers) will dig for. You get it = "devoid of value or worth"...lol.. Do you get it, idk?.....

idk, others were laid off but you were probably silently fired. Even your boss might have wanted to get rid of you and found this golden opportunity. You can no way compare with Indians, either by your attitude or even your knowledge level. As for language, I can't even get to your level but know that I am hating you just like you hate Indians

Did you know 30% of NASA and Microsoft makes up Indians...(not counting Google and other innovative companies yet)... of course they are not reading scripts there.. and also India has a leading growth rate of GDP at 7.4% in Asia, and it doesn't compare to China due to the recent slow down there, and other western economies. They must be doing something right.... Regarding dogs, they are pretty loyal... you must be of some commonwealth origin as your thought process and brain are clearly very small...

As far as I know India and China are off the hook. On the contrary, VMware is moving projects to China (Fusion/Workstation) and India (vR something)

Don't know anything about Japan or Australia

India is the f---ing cheap labour market of the world. You f---ing can get an engineer for the price of a coffee. And as to technical skills, you take a f---ing dog and force feed it kb's and scripts to read out from and chances are you've got yourself a winner! Why the f--- would anyone fire them!
