How do you spot a Nutanix employee? He's the only person who ever mentions Nutanix

Not to mention the nutanix product is downright scary and unpredictable. You have to run the storage inside the hypervisor on which you need the storage? o_O

I run dozens of these things in a cluster. It's literally a show. Not a good one. I think VMware will still make it. The problem is just if Dell decides to try to absorb them completely or not. It seems not.

According to VMware financial earnings, they seem to be doing very well still. Most customers run VMware on top of Nutanix. Just because Nutanix competes with VSAN (evo, ready nodes, ect) doesnt mean VMware wins in the long run with the rest of the vSphere platform. AWS and MSFT have their use cases as well, but all in all VMW still has very healthygrowth from what I can tell.

Nutanix has nothing to do with VMware growth. They are a niche player and having LOTS of issues with the market.
