So we are going through this supposed transformation and layoffs so that those left will be accountable to "their" new work requirements. So why is it my boss and others in his position are passing their "new" expectations down to me and my peers. I now have to do my work and have added stress of doing their job. Nothing changes....I hate this place.

If you think it sucks, are you looking for a new employer?
The work is passed down because they don't have the skills and don't want the boss above them to know it. Called survival.
They do it because they know that their KMG leadership does not know or care. Management at Target flat out sucks all the way to the top.
