Website and mobile app folks are being hired here and India. People who keep the lights on in the rest of the business may be feeling a chill wind blowing through their departments.

Better news, they are comitted to at least 25% of the engineers being female now and 50% in the future. Oh wait, they don't want to work at Target any more than men do.
TTS is so hosed. Everyone in MSP is aware of their mess and no real talent will join TTS because of it. Especially if the only place to eat is sweet basils!
Target has been trying to hire engineers in US for a year. They probably have a net loss of talent given all the resignations during that same time.
Unless you come in at the VP level, you will be treated like SH*t.
You mean the only perk I would get working for Target is a lousy 10% off my purchases. No lunches, stock options, massages, etc.......forget that.

Umm, bad news. I attended the recent Redtalk event regarding Supply chain transformation, I have never seen a SVP so clueless and inarticulate. We are screwed if leaders like him are in charge. He was not able to produce one shred of evidence that he and JM's efforts have produced any sustainable positive results. They will all be fired within 6 months . Instocks, Instocks, Instocks....BS, they don't have clue. A plan for 2020, are they crazy....they don't know what is going on today.
Ha ha. When he comes to my house he's going to find Amazon boxes. With Take Charge of Education and Pharmacy Rewards gone, my last two reasons for going to target have evaporated. I can just go to the cvs down the street instead.
Mobile team resources in India don't have any work. Why are they hiring more?
No way Target can hire 500 engineers in US. They have a horrible reputation since layoffs. Someone is smoking something.
