Their Sourcing division just announced more jobs to Panama. Some positions will be eliminated and employees will need to reinterview for their jobs. The morale in the Lincolnshire and Lake Forest locations couldn't be lower. #outsourcing

Now, Jayne and Danner, (dumb and dumber) are asking people from the 3rd wave of people who's last day was scheduled for 12/31 to come back as full time employees. These are the same people who had to reinterview for the same jobs they've been doing and were told after the interview that they were not qualified. It's comical to witness and I can't believe that the buffoons in lake forest don't realize how how incompetent the buffoons that are in charge of Sourcing are. The leadership company wide are totally idiots. Stock is in the tank, sales are down. Grainger is going down and the leadership team is way to stupid to do anything about it.
As a former Grainger employee (who voluntarily left after witnessing years of "entitlement" from middle managers), I think this whole this is comical. I genuinely feel bad for those who are losing their jobs with the exception of the middle management and above. I've worked for other Fortune 500 companies since leaving, and I've never seen a more entitled group than I saw at Grainger.
Now, Danner and crew are asking the employees who reinterviewed for their jobs and were denied those jobs, are being asked to stick around after they were given packages and separation dates. This is a prime example of how ignorant the leadership team is at Grainger. These "leaders" are a joke. Sourcing is internally imploding and there's nothing that can fix it. Management is in panic mode, it's somewhat entertaining. Nice job Danner, keep up the great work.
Senior Management ( Danner, liar and a disgrace to USMC) just begged the 1st wave of Sourcing agents who's last day was scheduled 5/31 to stay on through 10/31. Apparently he wasn't smart enough to anticipate that the Sourcing employees were going to be pissed and leave the company which is exactly what's happening. Now, they are understaffed are panicking. For some unknown reason, Grainger's senior management has this belief that their employees can't survive outside of the company. It's actually comical. Pretty sure my 6yr old son can do a better running that department than Danner can. This guy is a complete joke. Sad thing is, there's lots of good people in that group.

W.W. Grainger is imploding. Seems like I have a new sales rep every three months. They don't understand their customers because their reps don't understand their customers needs. It gets old explaining to a newbie Grainger rep what my expectations are. No need to build a relationship with them just for simple fact they get recycled so often. Amazon is way to go. I'd rather order online than deal with some customer service rep in another country. Good riddance Grainger
I wish they would have kept those jobs in the US.
I will agree that sending jobs to Panama sucks. It not only sucks but it's hurtful. Obviously they are paying people less money but they are actually sacrificing employee quality of service, intelligence, abilities, potential, motivation and pride in their work, not to mention these people in Panama have atrocious grammar skills and speak with accents so it's difficult to understand many of them. I do believe this is going to hurt Grainger in the long run.
