Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Good news - No more layoffs this year

Got to know from an HR source that there won't be any more year-end layoffs this year. But poor performers need to get worried, as there will be a review before the focal. So, if you are of the arrogant category having the thought that the work done 10 years ago will be considered in every focal, then you are surely in your dreams.. By the team you get the realization of the present, you would got thrown out. So, be prepared - especially the old, useless idiots who believe they are holding the pillars of intel and without them, the company would die off.

Cute posts. Was with Intel for 13.5 years before offering a CAP or VSP. Good to excellent reviews all prior. Took the VSP and couldn't be happier. My advice, for what it's worth, save your dollars and craft an exit plan from day one.

For 2016, Intel is going to coming calling on people making >= $100K in support biz groups.

If you don't screw up yourself, you're manager will certainly find a way to make you eligible

for the 'redeployment'.

Lucky you!

Far too much money. Give me China and India. Better bang for the buck and nowhere near 85K. You're over paid. Prepare for outsourcing!

No, Intel is paying quite well: $85k as an RCG. But still not as high as you Intel veterans who command $130k+ base salary and often leave early for kids stuff and take numerous vacations and sabbaticals. Intel management definitely loves our productivity much more than you old, Intel old farts.

You are just what Intel senior management is always looking for. Wet behind the ears so they can pay you next to nothing, AND you are not experienced or smart enough yet to tell them no when they ask you to do something stupid. Intel veterans, those who have actually helped drive new innovation and leadership (which is years in the past) would attest that, to a significant degree, one of their unwritten responsibilities was to "ensure that stupid doesn't happen". Good luck with that junior,... now go back to work and see if you can do anything productive to help drive up the price of my shares.

Current annual focal is not about what you have done, it is about how skillful you can take what coworker has done and show as yours.

I'm a millennial and I have yet to meet an old person who thinks focal is about more than last year, so not sure where that myth came from. Either way, the entitlement of people my age is sad, coming in thinking their shit doesn't stink. Yet you watch and they can't debug a basic compile error and have to send it to an (old) expert to get it fixed. Entitlement and java schools.

Your foul mouthed ignorance amuses me. :) Better things to do, sure but I get them done just fine. Believe it or not I'm quite capable despite being older. When you're mature enough to understand ag, then well you'll get it. Until then your ignorance will continue to amuse me.

No oldie, it is my first and only language.. I type too fast and that might be the reason for some typos.. For you old mentality folks, that would be a huge deal, but for us, the millennials :) You seem to be patrolling this portal a lot and making all sorts of negative comments about intel and also me. As a rotten ass, don't you have anything better to do?
