Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Are Cathy and Brian cleaning up the BofA operational footprint so it's easier to divest/sell parts off?

February 2016 cuts were accelerated. Last week's layoffs provided no financial benefit for 2015. MYWORK individuals targeted. Roles reduced.

Yes....Simplify and Improve; reduce the amount of work by severing the people doing the work.

So --- Cathy can show investors that operations are organized and concentrated....Who is going to show Brian's directs how to grow a company organically instead of having to purchase another business --- But (sigh).... BofA will never be a "Great Place to Work". People there will still wake up every morning wondering "Will I be on the "list" today?"...... while the rest of us "close the door" and don't look back.

Bank of America eliminates MyWork program which has significantly demoralized personnel. They have also substantially increased bureaucracy under the excuse of risk controls but they don't realize that adding steps to a process without redesigning the process is reducing productivity and efficiency. Bank of America used to be a great place to work but don't feel they make efforts to retain high achievers.
