Sue or not to sue

Hearing that those laid off recently got a prorated bonus. That was not given to us that laid off in April. Opportunity to sue???

Why sue?! Just be glad you are not working for these a-holes anymore! And be happy you got PAID to leave!! I left on my own after it became so clear what a complete house of cards... crap company Noble is.

Prorated was included when I got layed off last April. Read the severance package thoroughly.

read the paperwork you signed in April -- you probably waived any rights in exchange for what they paid you. Most people received a prorated bonus. Call Lee Robison or send her an email message and ask about the bonus.

You have no standing to sue at all.

Go check your final paycheck stub -or- read the paperwork you received in the severance packet. I wouldn't call a lawyer just yet...

I doubt it..... Bonuses are typically offered and granted through the discretion of the management. This is not unique to Noble, not even unique to Oil and Gas, all bonuses everywhere. All bonus money is awarded by management who has the freedom to decide what should be done.
