Whoever came up with the plan for the layoffs has no heart. Seriously, why would you do something like this to employees (who are working every hard) during the holiday season. They should have put more thought into this - imagine how badly this affects the overall morale of our workers. Also, I know for sure that they could have done much more to keep some of the folks that have been (or will be laid off) on payroll. Just saying, it's all about executives and their bonuses.

They are not saving ConAgra...
They are burning whatevas left...
When would a good time be, to get rid of employees ? There is no good time. Companies shed jobs because things are not good within the workings of the company. Better to sacrifice the ones they are to save the rest of the company.

different timing would not change anything, it's better to go through this quickly so everyone can move on
