Halliburton needs to promote from within, instead of hiring management from the streets. Promote the people we already have who know what they are doing. Everyone is sick and tired of training their new manager.

We definitely need reorganization/restructuring from Executive Committee down to Frontline Supervisors. However, I think given the inability to "see the future", the Baker merger deal is an incredibly smart & bold move. Had we waited 6 months, we definitely could have gotten them for less - but overall, the merger of #2 & #3 will make an incredibly strong organization and much more of a competitor for #1.

He's a numbers guy ( accountant). Likes good PowerPoint presentations, wouldn't say he has hand on pulse of what actually works in operations.

Dave .

Has been at the wheel too long.

He needs to go. And Halliburton needs revamping from the top to middle management.
