First and foremost, i ask you all not to to obsess over this, this is a business. Cuts must be made, the reasons are obvious. Please, just move on. It cannot be controlled. I believe i gave you all a fair warning last time. I think its embarrassing that someone got on here and posted coworkers names. Embarrassing for him that is. Especially since some of those poeple have already been laid off. But scheduled for Dec. 9. ? Lol what a joke.Its obvious GE goes by quarterly profits. GE will do what must be done. Next round will include management, machinists, welders assembly,electrical and hydraulic experts.As well as more useless office personnel M.E. ,planners, data entry, and sales.In other words, no one is safe. Whether you just started or been there all your life. No matter what you know,or who you know. Get over it. If you made the list, just move on. Thank you.

I really wonder if the big corporations put this web site together to check and see just what their employees are posting, they probably get a report as to who posted what on an hour by hour basis.

I heard GE was going to shut down one or some of the houston locations indefinitely.

Our premiums are high and you live in networks (providers) that meets or exceeds Medicare or Medicaid according to the notice. This said, we'll visit the same providers as you and all the other masses who are unemployed.

Cuts is not a resolution when you mistreat those you don't like already. If you don't know someone in management or kinsmen to someone, start looking for another job in December is what you should have posted. Our management team would talk about what we needed to do as a company to increase sales, but they never sat down or discussed with the front line employees about strategies we could implement to increase our sales. And when sales decrease it became the employees fault, not management.
It is funny that this is the same manager justifying existence with the development of performance system when lead execution is overwhelmed with lag urgencies and golfing with the clan of Reagan funs.
The only thing embarrassing is GE Oil and Gas. You dont pay your vendors and your customers are leaving you. Management is lousy from top to bottom. Wise up and get rid of all the thermostats sitting in chairs doing nothing if you want to save money.
