The writing is on the wall. There are 6+ store manager vacancies in my region. People are smart and are jumping ship. Fingers crossed I can find a new opportunity too!!

I've heard stories of one region spending a fortune to fly in store managers across the region to run stores that have lost their entire management team. The overhead alone...must be what it felt like being the last residents of a town claimed by the plague in the middle ages. Last one out, don't forget to turn off the lights!
Just remember there are at least 21 ways to flog a dead horse and appear 'respectable' in upper management. My money is on 'declaring no horse is too dead to beat!', 'do a cost analysis study to see if contractors can ride it cheaper' or 'declare the horse is 'better, faster, and cheaper' dead'.
The company and morale is ruined. Finance used to be a strong team with good skills.
The promotions at Follett are jokes.
Just ask anyone in finance.
Many HO employees are looking to. This is getting ridiculous.
