Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

Layoff middle of December. Numbers aren't right. Then another one in February if no improvement.

Seagate is restructuring sure to adapt but it isn't going away and there's tons of lies on here (like a bitter ex employee trying to scare people or maybe the site trying to get more ad revenue)

Side note: many companies are having layoffs/restructuring last year to prepare for 2016 healthcare laws going into effect (no more old plans).

Agree with Fubar. I can't imagine them making more cuts, workload is borderline overwhelming at this point.

old dude, why do you believe that there will be a layoff mid-December? Is this speculation? In what part of the company? Seagate is hiring 14 firmware engineers now in Minnesota.

How much improvement can honestly be expected in 2 months. No way is there going to be 3 layoffs in a 5 month period.
