What is the likelihood of Office Depot layoffs in Boca Raton in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

The OfficeMax and Office Depot merger resulted in losing most of the OfficeMax employees as OfficeDepot held 51% of stock. If Staples buys OfficeDepot no doubt then that the OfficeDepot employees will be on the losing end this time.
Start looking now. Either way it goes it will not be pretty.
The layoffs are coming. Expect the announcement that the buyout has received the green light from the FTC sometime next month. Layoffs to occur between Q1 and Q3 - just in time for the anniversary of the folks who came down from the North...Well at least you enjoyed FL for 2 years or so. People in key positions are leaving in droves because they know what's around the corner....
I have been through three mergers / take overs with Staples. If the deal goes though everyone in Boca except Troy and a few Vps will remain who will go to Framingham.
