Your mom didn't have a problem finding a job after we laid her off at Noble. She gets hired several times a night. All in all, pretty low unemployment numbers for her. Downside, she is like the Karate Kid... Laid on... Laid off... all night.
Short term pain long term gain. Noble Energy is heading to the crapper... or already is in the crapper. Best to move on with your life in a new career. Make a clean break and get a fresh start.
Who ever thinks the unemployment rate is at an all time low needs to find a new news station. You are dillusional, try looking for a job in this economy and at this time of year. Good luck you will need it.
It's just a job, life could be worse. Take the money if you can and go find another job. The U.S. unemployment rate is at a all time low, so there are plenty of work out there.
