Target has to do something to save the company as a whole. Canada, .com, and the infamous security breach have cost Billions. Some of you seem to forget that? You may not like what the options are, but what would you do? Look at the numbers and it is clear that Target needs to make cuts to stay in business. Did you ever hear of Enron or Circuit City. They both thought that they were too big to fail also.
191752 - How does a "store even act if it is closed" exactly? I spend quite a bit of time shopping AV South, It's open and gorgeous. I've visited the Victorville, East Flint and Dixie Highway stores. Their whole cities looked like they were closed down.

And they opened 15 new stores and remodeled several hundred stores in electronics and home in 2015.
Big deal, stores are closed...this isnt the first time, and Target isnt the only retailer to do this.
